Mio AuSable Middle School is comprised of grades 6, 7 and 8. A typical schedule for a Mio AuSable middle school student includes a seven period day. This includes four core courses, as well as an elective, exploratory, and academic support class. Choir and drama are just two examples of elective classes students may choose. At-Risk services (tutoring/co-teaching) are provided as well.
Mio AuSable High School is a grade 9-12 setting with an average of 28 students per class. We offer AP courses in calculus and chemistry as well as dual enrollment and career and technical education. According to the Mackinac Center’s Context and Performance Report (2012), Mio AuSable High School was ranked the fourth highest conventional public high school in the Michigan. The high school has also been awarded the Bronze Star by US News & World Reports and Bridge magazine Academic State Champion.
