Mio Literary Journal
We are trying to start a Mio Literary Journal. We don't have enough student submissions yet for a full-length issue, but what we have is quite good, in my humble opinion: interesting, varied and original. Here are a couple short stories, a couple poems, and a couple prose poems from middle and high school students. One piece is accompanied by a drawing. I mention this because I am encouraging students to create original art, if they are so inclined, to go with their writing. It is striking to me how many good artists we have in the middle and high school grades and how many students like to draw. At any rate: Enjoy!
